Earth Mapping International recently completed the Countywide
color Orthophoto Production for Haralson County, Georgia (Area:
~ 300 Sq. miles). More than 400 Class I orthophotos at 1"=100',
with a pixel resolution of 0.5 ft, and 79 color orthophotos with
a resolution of 1.0 ft were prepared. This project required to establish 32 First Order GPS Control
Points to support the Airborne GPS, acquisition of airborne
aerial photography, scanning, Aerial Triangulation (AT),
Digital Terrain Model (DTM) generation to orthophoto production
and 4-ft contour mapping of entire county.
Earth Mapping International recently completed the Countywide
Orthophoto Production for Bryan County, Georgia (Area:
424 Sq. miles). The project was completed three months
ahead of the required schedule. More than 330 Class I
orthophoto maps at 1"=200' or 1:2400 at publication scale,
with a pixel resolution of 1.0 ft, were prepared. This
project required to establish 50 First Order GPS Control
Points to support the Airborne GPS, acquisition of airborne
aerial photography, scanning, Aerial Triangulation (AT),
Digital Terrain Model (DTM) generation to orthophoto production
and delivery of digital data on CD-ROMs to the client.
More than 450 Class I color orthophoto maps at 1"=50'
or 1:600 at publication scale, with a pixel resolution
of 4.5 cm, were prepared for the Metropolitan Atlanta
Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). Preparation of over 500
color orthophoto maps for the entire MARTA system using
USGS DEM data. The MARTA project encompasses all major
aspects of photogrammetry, ranging from aerial photography
acquisition, scanning, Aerial Triangulation (AT), Digital
Terrain Model (DTM) generation to orthophoto production
and delivery of hardcopy and digital data to the client.
Creation of orthophotos for an approximately 87 miles
long corridor starting from Toccoa, GA to Franklin, NC,
was performed at a negative scale of 1"=500' for a natural
gas pipeline route survey.
QC/QA of aerial photography for Henry County, Georgia.
Lareg scale topographic mapping of three projects in
Georgia for Georgia Department of Transportation's (GDOT)
highway projects. The project required scanning of aerial
photographs, AT, DTM collection, planimetric compilation,
and orthophoto production.
Digital orthophotos were created for two sites in Gordon
and Jackson counties of Georgia for GDOT. The aerial photographs
and GCPs were provided by GDOT.
