What's New at EMI?
EMI has recently completed a research project for NASA. The research combined terrestrial and GRACE satellite gravity data to compute geoid undulations. The preliminary research results prevail that a centimeter level geoid model is possible for North America and 5 centimeter level geoid models are possible for other continents. EMI is looking for investors to further develop and commercialize this product (39 land locked countries around the world would greatly benefit from this product). Other research and product development areas EMI is working on: 4D-GIS and Hydrologic Modeling for Watershed Based Emergency Forecasting; Height Modernization; Comprehensive GIS for Aviation Industries; Comprehensive GIS and Master Development Plan for Reconstruction. EMI President Dr. Bishwa Acharya was featured by GDOT SS Newsletter, Mississippi Enterprise for Technology located at Stennis Space Center, and by Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute.
